Local PDF tools without unnecessary uploads

Merge, split, extract, delete, rotate, reorder and compress PDFs in one place. Everything runs in your browser — free, private, no account, works offline.

This page includes LocalDocu’s PDF operations. Each runs locally in your browser for suitable workloads — use the panels above to select files and run an operation.

Supported PDF operations

  • Merge — combine multiple PDFs in list order
  • Split — separate pages into outputs
  • Extract pages — keep selected pages
  • Delete pages — remove selected pages
  • Rotate pages — 90°, 180°, or 270°
  • Reorder pages — rearrange page order
  • Compress — reduce size with balanced or maximum modes

Select a PDF (or several for merge), choose the operation, then run and save locally. Each operation also has its own dedicated page.

PDF tools questions

Are these PDF tools really free?

Yes. LocalDocu is open source under Apache-2.0. There is no account, no paywall, no watermark and no daily task limit, because processing runs on your own device rather than on paid servers.

Do the PDF tools work offline?

Yes. After your first visit the app is cached by the browser, and merge, split, extract, delete, rotate, reorder and compress keep working without an internet connection.

Which PDF features are not available yet?

LocalDocu does not yet do OCR, e-signatures, PDF text editing, PDF-to-Word conversion or password removal. Those are on the roadmap; the current tools focus on organising, compressing and converting.

Which browsers are supported?

Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop, Android and iOS. Desktop Chrome and Edge add folder access and native Save As; see Browser & device support for details.
